Impacts can be distinguished into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Direct impacts<\/strong>: impacts generated by the operating activities carried out directly by Poste Italiane;<\/li><li><strong>Indirect impacts<\/strong>: impacts generated along the supply chain as a result of Poste Italiane\u2019s spending on goods and services from Italian suppliers;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Induced impacts<\/strong>: impacts generated by consumer spending that is realised through the income earned by workers employed directly and indirectly by the Group.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>The process of creating Poste Italiane\u2019s economic value<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-schema\"><img  src=\"http:\/\/poste2020.message-asp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/impact.svg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-409\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, Poste Italiane Group generated impacts on the country in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) totalling \u20ac12.2 billion and in terms of employment totalling approximately 191 thousand jobs and \u20ac2 billion in terms of tax revenue. It may also be estimated that a total of 191 thousand workers have been involved along the production chain.
